Climate Action & Environment
Cox's Bazar sits on the front line of climate change: cyclones, flooding, salinity and land degradation hit the poorest families first. HEART is accredited with the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and is a member of the GEF CSO Network.
We bring grassroots evidence to national and global climate dialogues, from Bangladesh Youth COP to UNCCD COP17, and we help communities adapt with tree planting, climate-smart agriculture and disaster preparedness.
What we do
- Tree planting and sapling distribution with schools and communities
- Climate-smart agriculture with women farmers
- Field research with climate-vulnerable communities
- Youth climate advocacy at Bangladesh Youth COP, UNCCD and other forums
- Disaster preparedness and community resilience
From the field
How you can help
Sponsor saplings, farmer training or a young climate advocate's participation in policy dialogues.
Together, we can build resilient communities where no one is left behind.
