Who We Are
Aid, Humanity,
Development.
Humanitarian Enhancement Aid for Resilient Transformation (HEART) (হার্ট) was founded on 1 April 2021 in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, by Jobair Mahmud. As the post-COVID-19 crisis left local families and the Rohingya community facing hunger, a group of young humanitarian workers came together on one platform so that help would not stop when one person's money ran out.
Today HEART is a youth-led, non-political, non-profit organisation working with host and Rohingya communities in seven upazilas of Cox's Bazar. We are women-friendly, youth-friendly and SDG-friendly, and we work alongside the government in emergencies, climate action, health, education, livelihoods and protection.
