HEART (Humanitarian Enhancement Aid for Resilient Transformation) is a youth-led, non-profit humanitarian and development organisation based in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. We work with host and Rohingya communities on emergency response, climate action, health, education, livelihoods and protection.
HEART was founded on 1 April 2021 in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, during the post-COVID-19 crisis. We celebrate 1 April every year as HEART Day.
Yes. HEART is registered with the Department of Youth Development, Cox's Bazar (Reg. No. 071, 17 July 2022) and is accredited with the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). You can view our registration certificate on the About page.
Our corporate office is in Palongkhali, Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar. We work in seven upazilas of Cox's Bazar (Teknaf, Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar Sadar, Ramu, Chakaria, Moheshkhali and Pekua), in the Chattogram Hill Tracts, and on need-based support in Dhaka and Khulna.
